Quick Tip: A Lovely Kitchen Scent

In one of our first posts, we showed you how you can make your kitchen smell heavenly. This is one of our most popular posts so far, so we decided to write a follow-up. After all, there are plenty of ‘recipes’ to give your home a great scent. So don’t forget to come back regularly for new ideas.

I found this great recipe on the website of Morgan Moore. Morgan got this recipe from Williams Sonoma, where she worked more than 10 years ago. They used to put this concoction on the stove and it made the whole store smell amazing.

Instructions

Just like our previous recipe, this one starts by boiling some water in a pot. Add a few sprigs of rosemary and a teaspoon of vanilla to the boiling water. Slice a lemon and add it to the pot. Let it simmer on the stove for a few minutes, so all the aromas get absorbed by the water. The steam will carry this lovely scent through the house.

You can let it simmer all day long. When too much water has evaporated, simply add a bit more.
